When I try to apply the latest update, I get a message that says "Your upgrade license is expired..exiting setup." Why?

This error means that you are attempting to install the latest DashboardFox updates and you do not have an active Upgrade license.   

There are a few cases when this will happen:

If you are doing a fresh install,  it simply means you are applying the updates before activating your trial license keys.  

Launch your newly installed DashboardFox install via http://yourservername/dashboardfox and login with username: admin and password: dashboardfox to complete the activation wizard.   Once you have activated the trial licenses,  the Upgrade license will be included and you can then apply the latest updates.

With all purchases of DashboardFox you are provided with 1 year of Upgrades.  When you apply an update file to your DashboardFox server,  the expiration date of that Upgrade license is checked prior to applying the upgrade.   If the update file has a newer date than the expiration date of your Upgrade License you will get this message.

You have a few options:

If you did not renew on purpose,  you will also have access to the last update file you are eligible for via your Customer Portal - https://myaccount.5000fish.com

If you would like to renew your Upgrade license or want to reinstate an elapsed Upgrade license,  you can do that either via your Customer Portal or contacting us at team@dashboardfox.com
